this is gonna sound wierd but....
the sounds in My head recently are this band Creepers, and i think they have been , like, "missed" by a lot of folks. you should play them on your show, because your show is cool, and their music is cool, so it owuld be..well youget the point. yeah. ;)

shoot! this stuff is super!
this guy is nuts! he does society a tremendous service by bringing little-known or over-looked music to the forefront of techonolgy through the most advanced, state-of-the-art instruments and dials and buttons. and as if thats not enough, the accompanying website provides a premium of information on how to buy the music he plays. this zany fella should be supported by the UN the great service he provides the world.

Great show.
Thanks for the shows. Been listening to the show since May. As a Linux user who doesn /can use iTunes, and has an MP3 player rather than an iPod, any chance of being able to dl the show in MP3 format using an alternative RSS link? Itd save on me having to download from your homepage, and running a script in order translate it into a format my player can cope with. Maybe Im just being lazy. Thanks again Daniel for your show. Re: Not a music show - left-wing politics
in regards to jchiders_98's comment that The Sounds in My Head is not a music show, but a show merely filled with "virulent anti-Bush left wing rants" I feel obligated to point out that actually the show is BOTH a music show AND filled with as much left-wing, Bush-bashing as possible. I've certainly never claimed otherwise (note my special "political" and "pre-" and "post-election day" episodes to see just how public I've been about it). the idea is that the show represents what i'm listening to, thus being "the sounds in my head." it just so happens that my head is often filled with the sounds of left-wing ranting along side a lot of awesome music. but for anyone concerned about the level of music v. politics, the ratio (it should be noted) is not even close. probably in the region of 92 parts music for every 1 part politics. but thanks for the comment anyway!

Great Show
This remains one of my favorite music podcasts. Great production, great sound, and best of all, a great selection of tunes. Childers (two comments down) – grow up. He occasionally plays a short quip that pokes fun at Bush. If you can't handle that, you don't deserve a show this good.

Re: Lindsey Buckingham
man o man. is my face red?! shows you what I know about fleetwood mac. that's just too embarrassing for words. I can't believe I'd make such a huge blunder. it has been duly noted, and from now on I'll make sure to look into it more when I'm talking about something I don't know anything about.... other than how awesome that song is of course, I'm an expert on liking it. thanks for the informative, if humbling, tip JuvenileHi!

Heard some great stuff on here - was floored by 'Holiday Road' - the theme to National Lampoon's "Vacation," Although Lindsey Buckingham is a He, not a She. Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie are the "She's" in Fleetwood Mac. Lindsey Buckingham is the mad genius behind "Tusk."

This is an amazing, better-than-FM-radio caliber show. This guy is like the guy you knew in school, the music nerd up on the best of the most obscure music. Unless you are a fan of MTV, BET or any station owned by Clear Channel, you'll love The Sounds in My Head.

Sounds in My Head
SiMH is one of the finest eclectic music shows available for podcast. The clever sequencing and unusual choices put the overwhelming majority of radio broadcasts to shame, and I can't wait for the next episode. It deserves more attention than it gets, so I've been unreservedly recommending it to my podcast-convert friends.
