Great Show
Im running my first marathon this upcoming April and as someone who is a middle of the pack runner myself I find your podcasts to be great. I found your Wish for the runners of the 115th Boston Marathon video on YouTube and often listen to it before a long run after work. Very inspiring and great to be able to listen to a fellow middle of the pack runner.

Thanks to the others....
Other podcasts for runners suggested checking out THIS podcast, and as it turns out, this guy Steve records a lot of podcasts and they are incredible. So that means that I now have to listen to 200+ podcasts before I can move on and tune in to others again. Some how got addicted to the rambling... Haha But more importantly the hard work and educational listening. Thanks so much for this stuff Steve!

You run? Try this show!
Phedippidations is a simple yet excellent podcast about a guy much like me doing what I want to do; training for and running marathons (in my case at least one... someday...). His thoughts and reflections are quite entertaining for the long road. His sincerity is so refreshing. Much of his dialog is recorded during his runs. So much better than listening to someone sitting in a studio talking about running. Steve "Runner" actually takes you along with him. It gives the show a feel of "genuine-ness" and shared experience. On a side note; hes opened up a world of music I didnt know existed with the Creative Commons offerings he brings to each show. If youre a mid-pack runner, or a beginning, new runner, you owe it to yourself to try this show! Great job Steve!

Its cold outside this morning!
22 degrees to be exact. I put on my running shoes and opened the front door. The chilled air literally froze me. I did not make it past the door step. Instead, I went back in to sit down at my computer. Then, I listened to your cold weather running podcast. Now, I am going to put my running clothes back on and go right outside. Its a beautiful day in Bucks county, Pennsylvania. I dont want to waste another run. Thanks for the inspiration and thank you for keeping me running.

Phenomenal podcast!
By far, the most inspirational podcast that encourages me to run and keep running, despite my previous hatred toward the sport. It has inspired me to finally get my foot in the door and sign up for my very first 5K this summer, when in high school I refused to ever run the require mile each year. Way to go, Steve!

Congratulations on the successful running of your 7th Boston Marathon. I just finished listening to your 100th episode and have enjoyed every minute of all 100 episodes. I am slowly catching up and hope to hear the running of the 112th Boston Marathon within the next couple of months. I think that one of the many reasons that I enjoy listening to you is your sense of self-awareness. You know and understand who you are, where you are and you dont pretend otherwise. We could all be so fortunate (like you, I dont believe in luck). Your podcasts (which are anything but goofy) have made me laugh and brought tears to my eyes. I fought for you on your 110th Boston as you struggled through and finally persevered. I dont know how many humans have been at the brink of defeat and fought through, but you did and I am glad that I was there with you. As a Marine, I appreciated hearing your podcast on your first running of the MCM. I thank you for your kind words. As a father, I hear your conversations with John Michael and hear myself having some of the same conversations with my soon-to-be 16 year old. It gives me pause as I listen to you and think about my remaining time with him before he walks out the front door. As a good animal, I respect your views of our planet and why we are here. Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us fellow runners. I look forward to catching up on the podcasts and listening to you as we run down the roadways of life.

This podcast is undoubtedly the best podcast available. Steve is way too modest about his work, the ambient noises that gets through into the cast really puts me right next to Steve when Im running. Im a huge fan of episode 92 in particular about the "Duel in the Sun". I listen to it before every meet and really puts a fire in my spirit. Thanks to Steve, who is always with me, during the good runs, the bad ones, and everything in between.

Steve, I subscribed to your podcast a couple of weaks ago and I am already hooked. I recently had injections in my spine to hopefully alleviate a 15 year back condition. Since listening to your podcasts, I have started light running and this has gone well. I have dabbled with running in the past but always preferred football "soccer" as a means of keeping fit. My chronic back condition and father time - I am 45 which I understand to be your age too - meant it was time to hang up the boots and move on. You have planted a seed and I plan to use your inspirational podcasts to get myself back to full fitness through running. I adore New England and just love to hear you running through the snow on chilly days. So evocative. Keep up the great work Steve. A fan. John from Wirral, England

Cool Show
Hi Steve, I think you produce a GREAT show ... and guess what; I am not a runner ... nor have I ever wanted to be a runner, but I am a hiker and I love to walk ... some day I might try running (but my wife likes it and has ambitions to run a 3k soon) ... the problem is two kids under 2 that are both still nursing ... no time to do much anymore. Anyhow, my thoughts match yours ... get outside away from the TV, throw the kids in a backpack, get a jogging stroller and use it for its purpose, and even if you don "specifically" exercise, at least take your life outside and enjoy Gods creation. Im subscribe and will continue to be; and one last thing GO SOX!!! (even though I live in NY and have a family who are Yankees fans ... Im from New England, so GO SOX ... or if I have to pick a team in NY, go Mets unless you are playing the Red Sox) Rick Host of the ICMRaw Podcast www.icmraw.com
