I learn more about wine by listening to WineCast than through any other source. Tim knows his wine and the casual wine drinker can learn so much about tasting, matching wine to food, and appreciating a good grape through this great PodCast. If you like wine, youll learn to love it after listening to the WineCast podcast.

Suggestions
Hi Tim! Thanks for the wonderful education with winecast. Ive always felt intimidated by a wine list and now actually feel I have some what of a grasp of what I might want when looking at it thanks to your show. I had some suggestions that I think would further help someone like me who knows still very little about wine. 1) Have you ever thought about reviewing various wine keys? Im a nightclub photographer and alot of the bartenders I know remark about how they can never find a good wine key that lasts over time or gives a good pull on various types of bottles. 2) I hear you explain all the various tastes and flavors but is there any way to include a varietal of wine paired with one flavor to help develop ones palette to isolate that individual flavor? Or is there any sort of training method with various flavors to develop ones palette besides randomly selecting wines and trying to decern what flavors are present? 3) While learning about the varietals has been a great help any chance you can review some of the bigger wineries or what one might find in tastes in the more retail wineries. When Im at a resturant the obvious names like Kendell Jackson, Beringer, Clos du Bois, Robert Mondavi, Ravenswood, etc are usually always present and while I know wines are different per vintage and varietal it would be good to know the particular style of that winery. 4) Can you possibly talk about the benefits the various wine glasses? I know you had talked about champaign glasses before but I was wondering what makes a good red or white wine glass or even more specifically the varietal specific glasses by Riedel. Thanks again! and look forward to your continuing shows! Erich Claxton , Atlanta GA

Cheers to Winecast
I quickly fell in love with this podcast for its professional tone that is still quite personal. Information is informative and easy to understand - a great way for a wine lover with little actual wine knowledge to learn not only about wines, but the regions they come from and how to buy and store them. I give this one a 10 out of 10!

I just love your show. As a budding wine lover, I often wonder, how much do you have to spend a week on wine to keep the cellar stocked? My problem is, I love wine so much, the bottles fly off the shelf. Here in Qu├ębec, we dont have access to all of the bottles you talk about. Thats why I appreciate your descriptions of different types of wine and the regions they come from. Keep the podcast going. Denise

Brilliant
After listening to winecast for a couple of weeks, I was surprised last night when in a small party the conversation was turned into wine, and I found out how much information I had gathered from this podcast, that seemed pretty interesting to everyone. My whole outlook to wine, and wine tasting is changing, and I am looking at it more scientifically, and more artisticaly every single day, because of this podcast. The podcaster has a very clear and his voice is pleasing to hear, though I am not much used to the American accent and he does have a strong American accent, I can understand every single word of his probably because he speaks in such a crisp and clear voice. It's a joy to listen, and very informative as well. My sincere regards to you sir. Cheers!

My favorite podcast period. And podcasting from my neck of the woods, the great frozen north. How great to hear a wine show from a midwesterner. In vino audius
A great show for somebody who knows enough about wine to know they like it and want to improve their palate, their knowledge, and their shopping acumen. Shows usually concentrate on one grape/varietal or growing region per episode. This show has actually made me appreciate wine more, which I didn't think was possible.

Review
Tim does a great job in tell about each variety of wine. I recommend it to my customers at my homebrew shop
