Great for Newbies
As a programming veteran who is new to Python, I really like Python411 podcast. I appreciate Rons enthusiasm for Pythons virtues in brevity, clarity and readability. Over the years, I have had to write, extend and maintain code -- written by myself and others -- in languages that do not have those virtues. And it has not always been fun. [Remember APL? Yeah... I have scars, too.] Listen to this podcast. It is informative and useful, but it is also fun.

I really love the fact that you take the time to research, review, and record your feelings on Python, Ruby (on Rails), and learning programming in general. I appreciate that you take the time to specifically address the learning needs of the "newbie" (that we have all been at one time or another). It is terrific that you recognize we are all laymen outside our area of expertise and taking the time to help your audience toward proficiency. Thats where the fun is.
