compete with B. Packett?
I've enjoyed the History Podcast for some time but when the "f word" came up without warning I decided it was time to look elsewhere. I do appreciate the considerable time he puts into this podcast but after hearing the unpracticed script and the abundant mispronounciations I've had enough. Compete with Prof. Packett? Are you kidding?

History on speed-dial
Wanna know something about history? Send a message to Jason, hell research your topic, and then produce a show on it for everyone to hear. Its like having your own personal history source!

I needed this
Ever since my last college course in a history I've been hankering for this. I'm so glad and I continue learning about the nitty gritty again. Thank you for this real service you are providing everyone. You do it well.

Jigsaw reading
I appreciate the effort of making such a podcast, very useful and informative in its contents. However, I would like to politely say that it is basically impossible to be listened to. The reading voice follows a jigsaw pattern, initially high pitch and ending the sentence so low I can't catch the last words. The pattern repeats itself at every sentence. It is all but an attractive reading style. I apologize for the comment, I really like the program but would like to have a slightly better reading style, if possible. My apologies. Thank you for your kind attention. All the best. Alessandro

Jason does a great job covering a wide variety of topics! He also provides other sources to learn more about the various topics. Keep up the great job.

Shows Promise
HistoryPodcast shows definite promise. It will give Bob Packett's podcast some real competition. It presents things in much more detail than Packett's "History According to Bob," which I think is a plus. The author of the podcast is also seemingly responsive to emails from listeners, which Packett ignores.
