David gets right to it by putting a sick Jenn on the spot for another awkward '5 minutes with Jenn' segment. David then shares some unsavory deeds of which he is immensely proud. Mystery texts, the bet with Mike, Mel Gibson's racism, collective nouns, and a plug to support local band Nobody Likes Dwight! Plus David's obsession with Pokemon, emails from Darek, a new business card contest, and some games and entertainment news, including Gameboy condoms! Exclamation point!

Hot diggety, we got some emails! A winner is announced from last week's secret contest, David and Jenn talk about their game buying problem, and the fight they had over a closing out game sale. David talks about his new job while Jenn rescues the pizza from her thieving cat, David disappears to take a phone call while Jenn talks about Roger Ebert's stance on video games, and then there's more game talk. Stealth games, Splinter Cell, Metal Gear Solid, why PCs are dumb and Activision is greedy, plus David's impression of PlaystationPlus.

David and Jenn celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the Better Than Jenn Show by ending their 6 month hiatus! David began with a wild tale of his life and engagement to Jenn that sounded suspiciously like a popular comedy-drama from the 1990s. Jenn is just glad it wasn't like Twin Peaks. To get everyone caught up, they revive their famous past guest "Where are they now?" segment. Then it's games, E3, games, Kinect, 3D, and games!

David talks about his $10 game habit and the new hotness that is Heavy Rain. Jenn got a bittersweet 1000/1000 on a 360 game, finished a couple games, and is twisting in the wind a bit on what to play next. David touches on some game news, and there's a segment of Five Minutes with Jenn that she's actually prepared for!

The lovely Crystal is back to tell David and Jenn all about her new project: Men! Hear about her blogging exploits and enjoy an uncomfortable call-in conversation with Mike. Aaawk-waaaard!

Still trying to get back onto something resembling a regular schedule, David and Jenn are back to talk about how there's no Dungeons and Dragons allowed in prison, what they did to help Haiti, and how they're liking the Assassin's Creed series. Also hear letters from Angry Jeff and a new lady listener from Quebec. Jenn and David give a mini-review of The Book of Eli, David rallies for support to get a Las Vegas escort on their honeymoon, and Jenn talks about the passing of another pet.

zomg, a new BTJ episode! Thanks to the persistently dedicated listers, David has given up on giving up. He and Jenn are back, two weeks later into the New Year than intended, talking a bit about Christmas, some games, and other various and sundry things. They're going to try very hard to get back into the swing of regular shows.

At long last, Mike (aka L0NG HAUL) came to visit us in Edmonton. We had an awesome time and we recorded a bit of it on this show.

David and Jenn welcome Danielle back to the show and are very pleased to introduce their new friend Jo as a special guest! Jo talks about growing up in Hong Kong, moving to Canada, and where his life and travels have taken him. As promised, he shares the story of why his was banned from XBox Live and Danielle introduces her new segment idea - Cooking with Jo! Jo and Dani talk some food, then David turns the discussion to interracial and cross-cultural romantic relationships. Things get weird when the talk turns to L0NG HAUL's impending visit and which men Jo and Matt would get busy with. Yikes!

David makes some retractions regarding Trine, PS3 and Facebook, demos for the PSP, and bathroom ambushers. He and Jenn talk about the relevance of and interest in 3D-ready hardware and content, the Modern Warfare 2 controversy, and the possibility of PSN going to subscription. Also some talk about Borderlands and Dragon Age DLC, as well as their date night to see Men Who Stare at Goats!

There's some opining on news about Netflix, Son, and Microsoft, the Call of Duty Franchise, the people who go to midnight software releases, plus some other gaming industry news. David shares his recent interest in Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin, and the show is capped off the show with a controversial spot on rape.
