New Green Screen Video
I was just running a test of the new software and studio with Green screen. Once I got done I figured /"Since I did a lot of work on it, why not post it?/" So I did. The studio still needs a proper lighting system, but we really got to play with how the setup will work. Using the new Logitech 9000 video web cam (that records at 720x400), I tested out the video and audio (using the mic from the logitech, too.). I then ported it over to the editing studio where I put in all the handy-dandy little graphics. Finally, I worked it all together for a finishing product. Green screen needs a touch of work and like I said - lighting needs to be fixed. Oh yeah, a decent sound setup, too. Those will be coming shortly.
Fretlight Guitar - Review
One of the first reviews I did for the Geekazine channel was for the Fretlight guitar. However, during a computer crash, I thought I lost all of the video footage. Scrolling through a backup, I was able to recover an edited version of the file and subsequently post it. We are also going through some different intros. Let me know if you like this one.

Going to the HP Tech Forum Expo - What Equipment it Takes to Podcast
All this week, Geekazine will be with Andrew McCaskey from SDRNews and Kara Karsten to cover the HP Tech Forum Expo 2009 in Las Vegas. We will be covering and interviewing many different companies, as well as running the infamous "Backchannel" video. Andy will be bringing the serious video rig, so it's my job to make sure I have enough to cover the Backchannel experience. Add to that doing my regular Podcast on Tuesday. In this episode, I show you 2 things. 1 - my new location for future videos and 2 - the gear I am taking with me to Las Vegas. |
