Episode Three: Changing!
Lauren, left to her own devices in an empty house, talks about what’s still on her needles, fantasy projects, holiday knitting, what she’s been up to outside of sticks and string (yes, I have a life!), the newly-released interview with the hosts of C121 Radio and “Changes” isn’t the name of the episode for nothing! While you may have moved on to several projects between episode two and three, Lauren is still stuck on the Boyfriend Socks and the Pimlico Shrug. She’d also be a lot happier if she could pronounce “Pimlico”. Though two projects are still on the needles, Lauren is quickly loosing focus and beginning to fantasize about winter knitting. Once the thoughts of “winter knitting” enter her mind, she quickly comes to the realization, “Damn it! Christmas!” Other than knitting, Lauren has a life, kinda. When not knitting, she spent the past few weeks reading on Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, The Dante Club by Matthew Pearl and A Changed Man by Francine Prose. She’s also taken part in popular culture by attending the midnight showing of The Dark Knight with friends. The interview, which has seemingly sparked more interest in my podcast, is on feed. Check out the guys at C121 Radio and listen to Episode 37: Shh… Socks! Finally, Lauren knows that the sound quality of this podcast is not the best but hopes to borrow better mics shortly. Somebody killed the Radio on The College Knitter? That was Lauren! A worldwide search for theme music and better transition music is now in progress. Let’s make Lauren sound more professional!
