I found this podcast alley through a writer's website. I wish I'd done that before I mailed my query. I say that because two characters from my current manuscript have potential to appear in my next story but I didn't mention this in my query letter and focused just on my current manuscript. I'm kicking myself even as I write this comment. You mentioned that queries take 2-3 weeks (another thing I learnt from this podcast) which means I have two more weeks of waiting. What torture! By the way, you guys sound much more younger than I imagined you to be. It was fun to listen to you. Thanks! Submitted By: monita_sharma@... (on 3-2008)
Great Idea!
Kudos! This was fun and informative--a great combination. As a writer this is exactly the kind of thing I look for to research and define the lines in addition to written guidelines and reading the latest books. Very interesting. Keep them coming. Submitted By: puzlqueen57@... (on 2-2008) |
