The new fall season is underway!  A few weeks in and here’s what the Elf and Dwarf have programmed into their DVR.  Hits and misses abound as well as probably a few too many non-sci fi/ fantasy conversations.  Oh, and there’s not much news so we subsituted a few minutes of married people bickering instead.  

You could call this one Dragon Con Part 3 as we reflect on advice to someone going to their first con.  The news covers some DRM developments, Spore and some movie previews. 

After some reports from Kodath on the news, the Hunter Pair wrap up their review of their trip to DragonCon talking about star sightings, goofy trivia and what costumes they wore.  The news included tidbits on the new White Wolf game, some Batman Comic drama and more inside info on the new WoW expansion.  

Part one of a two parter, we begin our review of the epic experience which is Dragon Con.  This week we focus on the various panels, how we got around, and some of the inside secrets on Battlestar Galactica, Firefly and much much more.  Oh and did we mention that Rorlins sereneded Alan Tudik?

Due to the recent storm that hit Michigan (and a neighbor who refused to call Ms. Digg before doing major landscaping) we’ve been both without power and internet until today.  True to form we did get out a short conversation about geeking without power and how we’ve been surviving without email, the web, or WoW.
