Rusty Chain's CommuteACTIONS
This will be an eclectic mix - lots fast-paced stuff to ride to, with the occasional show of blues and jazz; Very occasionally I'll probably rant about this or that, but I plan to keep the talking to a minimum.

15 APR 07 - RCC #14 Ok, so I didn't quite get a show out in two weeks like I said – damn that day job. The east coast downpour this weekend has finally forced me back inside during my off time and I'm dealing with the backlog on my computer. The good news is that I'm back on my bike, which frankly, I enjoy more than making podcasts. 18 MAR 07 - RCC #13 – SXSW Special I'm adjusting this show to a once every two weeks format - just too much going on and once the weather gets better I can't bear to be inside. If my MP3 player starts to run a little low I'll put out an extra show every now and then. All the songs this week are by bands playing at the South by SouthWest music festival in Austin this week. I couldn't go this year, but this is the next best thing. All these songs and almost 800 more are available via bittorrent from the SXSW website and mirrored on rustychainpodcast.com But the festival and this show are to help promote the artists, so please click on the links in the show notes as well to find a live show, or to buy the song or ablum. Don't forget it is still Boycott RIAA Month, and the 22nd we are all going to "Bum Rush the Charts." The Jellydots – Bicycle / 7 Shot Screamers – Love Always Charlie / Goldenboy – Summer of the Evening / Bill Kirchen – Hammer of the Honky Tonk Gods / Gore Gore Girls – Fox in a Box / Muck and the Mires – Dont let Her get away / Pop Levi – Sugar Assault Me Now / Signal to Noise – The Weather Machine / Tetuzi Akiyama – Dont Forget to Boogie / The Sammies - Trainwreck /
Rusty Chain's Commute #12 03052007
05 MAR 07 - RCC #12 I hate being off my bike for the rest of the month. I am healing well, but doctor says not to risk a fall and so I am bus bound for now. Missed some great weather on the east coast yesterday too. No worries though, have plenty of music to share. Slipped up and put one RIAA track in here, I thought George Thorogood and The Destroyers had gone Indie when they started putting stuff up on the Podsafe Network, but found out when putting the notes together that Eagle Records is still part of RIAA. Mea Culpa - esspecially during Boycott RIAA Month. The Jellybricks - Girl / Bloody Heads - Good Time / George Thorogood and the Destroyers - Hard Stuff / Kill the Alarm - Fire Away / Phill Murrary and The Boys from Bury - Shurrup Me Dad's in Bed / Rotten Cheri - Jealous Girl / Skylong - Summer Calling / The Velmas - Where'd She Go / The Vinyl Strangers - Patriotic Girl / Wang Dang Doodle - Boomer's Boogie / George Fletcher - Theme Music /

It has been seven days since my last ride - had to travel for work. I'm itching to get back in the saddle, and I will be cranking this episode when I do. It seems I have a dozen or so listeners now, so if you are enjoying the show, drop me a note and if you use podcast alley, vote for my show there. I spent part of the day fiddling with my audio and think I have it working pretty good. I have a good quality aviation headset, but haven't flown in a few years. I wired up an adapter from that to my sound card and think it sounds pretty good. I noticed a few more downloads today, so if anyone is actually listening, drop me a comment or email.
