I love slice of scifi
One of the most entertaining posdcasts Ive ound. This one is worth a listen. Its geeky fun! Submitted By: meiko452@... (on 7-2008)
Wow
If you are looking for intelligent witty banter between a few friends...listen to simply syndicated. Because you won't find it here. Evo, Summer, and Sam are the only saving graces to this show. It is becoming very clear to me that the only reason Mike is on the show is because he owns the equipment. Reminds me of a garage band that has to let the neighborhood spaz in the group because he has an expensive P.A. system. I really don't see why the people with the least talent has the most talk time...well I do in Mike's case. He's the engineer. Anyone else notice that his microphone volume is a few notches higher than everyone else? What is with all of the tired phrases that he insists on using every five minutes? "Mmm..k" and "nice" come to mind. I can't believe his need for attention is so great that he constantly interrupts the celebrity interviews. He fought in his interview with Paul McGillion three times just to say "A smart man knows when to quit." While Mr. McGillion was telling a humorous story of how he first told his parents that he got the gig on Stargate Atlantis. It just seems that Mike is reading from an outdated book of jokes he picked up at the local library and he's the only person that finds them amusing. Really Mike...turn your microphone volume down, take an improv class, and let us enjoy the others for once. Submitted By: Nonum73@... (on 10-2007) |
