Bonus - Otakon 2009 Con Report
It's been entirely too long since we've done any con reports. In fact, we owe about a year's worth. But here's our report for Otakon 2009 while it's still fresh in our minds. Warning: in order to release this "on time," we opted to more or less release the audio unedited. It's rougher than we'd like. I keep forgetting this site exists!
I dont think anyone looking for podcasts has ever actually found my show by way of Podcast Alley. It seems to be a site designed around the notion of existing listeners for one given show showing up to vote on the one given show for the sake of increasing the ranking, which ultimately is of little help since nobodys paying attention to it other than for the one show in question. But what do I know? This sites still around, after all. Submitted By: suratd@... (on 3-2009) A cliched, yet entirely true statement to make about this show is, If you only listen to one anime podcast...etc. A show for those blessed with an actual attention span, Clarissa, Daryl and Gerald provide the perfect group dynamic, combining caustic wit, demure intelligence and a vast background knowledge of every subject, making for an informative and honest program, and any anime devotee will find plenty to soak up and enjoy in every episode.
