Hey kids,

As a public service to the Illinois podcasting community, we're seeking out Illinois-based podcasters to send us 30-second promos of your shows. You know, the ones you sent to Adam Curry but he never played.

We will play promos from podcasters who:

A) live in Illinois (yes, there will be an extensive background check and urine sample), or
B) have a podcast specifically about Illinois, as reflected in the promo

Okay, so I just realized how ridiculous that last one sounded. Anyway, send us your promos and extend your 15 minutes of fame 30 more seconds.

Oh, yeah, and we're also looking for bands FROM Illinois or who write songs ABOUT Illinois. Sufjan Stevens, I'm looking in your direction.

Thanks.

Hmmm ... you make a very compelling argument.

You might, however, have better luck pitching your promo to Ohio?, our inquisitive sistercast.

I spent my first 23 years in Illinois? Does that qualify?

I know, I know..... "Go talk to 'Texan-oise'......" crawling back to corner.....

Kris,

For Pete's sake! You have an entire podcasting studio! You will have 17 promos done by the time I finish this sente.... see! And they will all sound like audio gooold.

As for you Mr. Jeff, dedicate an ENTIRE This 'N That to your love for Illinois, cut a promo about it, and we will play it. Oh, yes, we will play it.

I was going to go with something similar Jeff, as I was born in Chicago... but here I am in DFW. Where can we find this Texan-oise cast? :P

Pete - I wouldn't have a problem with a show devoted to Illinois stuff (heck it could be a show about all the trouble I got in when I was there) but Pat would be bored by it all.... oh well.....

V3 - where in DFW are you? Didn't realize we shared the metro neighborhood....

I couldn't do a podcast about Il, I lived there for my first 6 months, and have done nothing more than drive through it once since then. I know nothing about it iother than how to pronounce it correctly.

Jeff: I'm in North Fort Worth (basically Keller) , but it seems like I'm all over the place.
