I'm having trouble recording skype calls. Here's my setup
HP computer Shure sm 58 mic Peaveay 8 ch mixer Edirol audio interface Audacity Skype Pamela When listening to the call it sounds ok, but as soon as I begin talking, skype begins to cut out. I've tried to record the call in audacity and pamela with the same results. Do I need a second computer to do the skype part and the HP for my audio? Also, when I record I managed to get the incoming skype caller on one channel and me on another but the one with me on it has both audios. I've tried the pan knobs panned left for me and right for the caller but I still get both audios. Also, does anyone have any diagrams of how to set up the mixer, route the cables. Any suggestions AJ |

See I earlier use Audio Hijack Pro to capture and record the Skype calls on the roll before shifting to www.rhubcom.com conferencing appliance which has a built in utility to record meetings alongside ongoing presentation which is a good solution for biz bees fas us..for general skype recording Audio hijack pro seems a good solution..
