I've been reading up on mixers for the past 2-3 weeks and i'm getting massive headaches from it.

Right now, I'm setup for broadcasting on SAM Broadcaster, and everything works the way it's supposed to, but the station I'm broadcasting for has decided to change things a little for me. They're adding a co-host for me, and they're adding in voip call-ins. I do mobile broadcasting, so it's all done on a quad-core laptop - no line-in jack, and no "stereo mix" on the soundcard.

Here's my problem: do they make a mixer with multi-channel digital in /out capabilities? I've seen USB and firewire mixers, but for some PITA unknown reason, every setup I've seen of them is still using analog audio cables to feed into the pc, which kinda defeats the purpose of HAVING a USB/firewire connection, doesn't it?

I'm trying to stay away from analog cables running back and forth from mixer to pc, because every solution I've seen requires a rat's nest of cabling, which I dont have the room for, especially since I'm setup for mobile.

SAM broadcaster is going to require mix input from the board only.
the VOIP on the other hand is going to require a mix minus input, and will have to output to the board.

Does this exist, or am I stuck dangling cords and adapters between a mixer and my pc?

Been beating my head on the desk for weeks,

So what your saying is you want a firewire mixer that all the analog inputs come into your mixer and then everything goes through firewire to your computer.

If you're looking for something like that check out the mackie onyx's.

go for the overclock then if you getting 30FPS in crysis more likely that the GPU is the bottleneck though.

CPU overclocking probly would adds some FPS to that minimum though which will make it more comfortable

what CPU cooler do you have ?

Hey, Im looking to record some **** in Reaper. WHats the best way to connect an actual instrument to my computer?

The best way I could think of is like...some sort of amp-to-USB cable. Do those actually exist? If not, whats the best way to go about this?
