How did you get more listeners

As someone who has been doing my Podcast/Webcast for a few months now we are trying to figure out the best way to expand out listenership. We have Tried Facebook, Google ads, We also do a live show on stickam .

What has worked for you? Whats the best way to get more listeners.

For us Making Viral videos that have to do with current events have been a huge key in getting new listeners . Example : We just upgraded out cameras and did a review on youtube about it. It has brought over 1000 new people to my website and 40% have downloaded my Podcast.

By advertising we can get a huge number of the listeners,to our show.

I got a load of new listeners by talking about my show on other peoples podcasts. I also had the lucky chance of Iain Lee calling up my show 1 night that bumped up my listeners.
