With more and more people carrying mobile phones with internet capability, I think it is possible to make your podcast more like a news show, and possibly scoop the major news organizations on stories, cover a convention or large venue (Celeb interviews, etc). Anyway, here's my idea:

"Hi, it?s Jeff again. So, I got another idea. It happened when I heard about the tragedy at WDW when the monorails collided. I thought about the quickness and connectedness of Twitter, and how it almost always beats major news to get info and pictures of a story out to the masses. I wondered if there was a way to have a person on hand at a newsworthy event with a cellphone, and how a podcaster could connect, record, then push a show out in a relatively quick amount of time, and I think this will work."

You are on to something. Look how Twitter has been growing in the last few months. Looks like it's here to stay and should continue to find more ways to grow with out of the box thinking like yours.

Best Wishes!
