I've done podcasting before, but it fell by the wayside because my portable recording apparatus (at the time a MiniDisc recorder) died and the alternative was lugging a laptop around which wasn't really practical.
I've now got new recording equipment, but I need to improve my input slightly.
I use two mikes to record my sessions and have a splitter (like this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3.5-Stereo-to-2-x-6.35-1%2f4-Jack-Y-Splitter-HiFi-Adaptor_W0QQitemZ360149328003QQcmdZViewItem)) so I can plug two mikes into one input, but I only get the combined audio on one side of the stereo picture.
So here's what I want...
I have two cheap MONO mikes with 1/4" jacks.
I want something I can plug them both into with a 3.5mm output.
I want one mike on the left stereo channel and one on the right. (Not combined)
Can you buy this cheaply or can someone draw me a wiring diagram to build it?
Hope someone talented here can help.
All the best,
pg
