I produce a weekly sports podcast that has been going about a year now. I create most of everything by hand (HTML for the page and the RSS file).

I used Adobe Soundbooth and would like to use something else to record it in the near future. I have Skype and am able to incorporate phone interviews easily.

On my HTML home page for the podcast I would like to have a player that automatically starts the podcast when you go to the page, or at least gives you the option to play it.

Any ideas? I have searched around and most things I see are tailored for music and playing play lists instead of one larger file.

Thanks.

There are several MP3 players out there. Here is one I liked. You can do several different things with this and you can see it working on my podcast page.

I chose one that only played one mp3 file instead of a list, but you can do both with this.

Hope that can help some people. I have really liked using it and it is free.

I'm looking for the same. A player that can sit in my html page and play the current episode, simular to what you have on MySpace, etc. It needs to be driven by the RSS feed for you don't have to update it. My site i want to embed to is www.wcsl.org/audpod (http://www.wcsl.org/audpod)
Any ideas from anyone welcome.

Hey, your player looks great. Not the perfect player for me but it could work. Problem is, i tried to download it from the website and simply dont understand what I need to do to implement it. Was it hard to get your up and running?
