Everytime I try to start Primetime Podcast Receiver I get an error message informing me that c:\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded.

I've run sfc /scannow but that didn't help. I have .Net Framework 2.0 and also 1.1 on my computer...could there be a conflict there? This is the first time I've run into a problem with .NET Framework, so I'm not sure what to do. I've also verified that the mscorwks.dll file is in place.

Any ideas about this?

John

Here's how I fixed the problem. Even though .Net\Framework 2.0 was showing in Add and Remove Programs, I went ahead and reinstalled it. Judging from the time it took to do that, and the number of sub-installations that went on, I must have had an incomplete installation. After that finished, I could start up Primetime Podcast Receiver...

Just download that one DLL go to google and type in the dll name and usually DLL-files.com is where I get all my missing DLL files. THen move that .dll to folder listed and boom you are good :)
