Hello, I recently was given the task of setting up a podcast at my office. I purchased a Phonic Powerpod 410 mixer and three mics. I have Adobe Audition 1.5 set-up on a Dell laptop that's at least 8 years old. Although I am no expert on audio set-up I've contacted those who are and all seems to be set up appropriately. The levels on the mixer are up, the mics are in their appropriate inputs and the line-in is connecting the mixer to the Computer.
When I go to set-up the Windows volume panel, I select stereo mixer on recording and turn the volume up, yet no sound is transmitted to the Audition. There is not line-in option in recording and I can't get any sound to input into Audition. Anybody with any good advice because I am stumped. Thanks.
