I need to record phone interviews for a podcast.
Skype doesn't work because it glitches every 10 seconds; I guess my internet ain't fast enough. Cell phone doesn't work because recorders don't shield from cell phone EMI. Can't use GrandCentral because then THEY have to call ME.
I got a landline and a Radioshack device that outputs the line to a recorder. Fine, but: my voice comes out WAY LOUDER than the other person's voice! And if I move the phone away from my mouth so the volumes even out, the other person can't hear me at all!
How do other people get around these problems? What's the solution?
