Recording from multiple inputs

Hello,

I'm just starting a podcast, and one thing I was trying to do is record both sides of a conversation from a voice chat (record both what I'm inputting through the mic and what's coming out of the speakers). I have a Windows and have Adobe Audition 3.0. Is there any way to do that, or is there software I can get that will allow me to do that? Thank you.

Check your volume mixer for recording. If you see a "Stereo Mix" or "What You Hear", make sure it's checked as the recording source. But I don't think all sound cards support stereo mix. Good luck.

It's on stereo mix, but the problem is that when it's on stereo mix, it isn't inputting the microphone anymore. Is there a way that it will input both the microphone and stereo mix.
