I dont think this will work. There are too many sites for free, and with huge amounts of traffic.

Grrreaaattt! Yet another example of someone jumping on the podcast bandwagon, profiting from the work of podcasters and offering next-to-nothing in return.
The only way this would be worth it (and I mean the only way!) is if the site had a good Google/Search rating. And from what I can tell, it doesn't. But hey, I could set up a GeoCities page and if any one's interested, I'll only charge you a buck to put a link there... It'd have about the same effectiveness!

Why are content producers still falling for these kinds of services?
I thought you had to do your own promotion as a podcaster, on the places where your potential audiences are. This sounds too much like a blanketed approach, which we know from radio and tv and the web (banner ads) people really don't pay any attention to anymore. It's like electronic graffiti.
