Need a publisher for my songs!!!

Hi everyone, I love writing songs and I have various songs of different genres....How do I get hold of producers to publish my songs and most important how do I approach them. I do need the contact details of many of them so that I can approach them at large. I know that this is not easy ?but I do have confidence in my lyrics and know that they have a chance.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

I really think the best way to get published is to get some of your own recording gear, you don't need a alot. Record the music to your own computer. And then release it on Amie Street first. If Amie Street is good enough for Modest Mouse and Bare Naked Ladies, I am sure it is good enough for anyone just starting out. You will have to do your own marketing at first, but at least you can start earning money that way while you build your popularity.

merlik you are right he has to release it on Amie Street first. He has to take his first step then if his music is good, he will definitely get publicity. Hope he will get success.
