I created a podcast for my employer but I don't think I did it correctly. It seems to work but now they want to add it to itunes and I don't think it will work with itunes. Can someone help me? The .xml document is finished, it just needs some tweaking. I really need to make some points at work!!:-D

Assuming you're not the first part to a two-part spambot parade, we'll need at least the url to your feed (that xml document you mentioned) to tell you anything.

By "add it to itunes" do you mean you want to subscribe yourself and your co-workers, or you want to submit it to the iTunes store? Either way,
- go to iTunes > Advanced > "subscribe to podcast"
- drop in the url to that xml document
- if you see the podcast episodes download properly, then I think it's a safe bet that it works.
If you want to submit it to the store, Apple has a pretty comprehensive document that tells exactly what you need to do:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/store/podcaststechspecs.html
However, don't count on it showing up right away. it'll take a few days to get accepted, and then you've got to help people find it which is another battle all together. :) good luck!

Use http://www.feedvalidator.org to make sure your RSS feed is working correctly BEFORE you submit to directories. You'll save yourself a lot of problems by providing a working feed.

Maybe I'm blind, but I didn't see a link provided by the OP.

Of course.... D'oh!
I guess it doesn't really matter though, since it doesn't appear that he's followed up on his plea for help.
