Make money from Podcasting...

Didn't Michael Geoghegan have a podcast, in which he said that podcasting is a community, not an industry? And didn't Jason Van Orden responded with a podcast, in which he said, that if you want to make money, stop being a podcaster.

And now someone wants us to believe that you can make money from podcasting. When pigs fly, no sooner. ;)

Well, Michael Geohegan does make money off of podcasting, so while the "community" aspect of podcasting gives us all the warm fuzzies, it's not the end-all and be-all of podcasting.

Personally, I don't think you can get rich podcasting if that is all you do, but if you diversify what you do, and how you envision podcasting fitting into the Whole (the "Whole" being new media in general), then perhaps you can make some money.
