Hi,

Hope I have got the right forum for this.

I'm a musician/home recorder and I'd like to get more experience in creating music to someone else's specifications. I'd like to offer some people a bespoke theme track for their podcast, no strings attached.

Basically, what I'm offering is that if you get in touch with me and we have a chat about what you would like, I'll do my best to come up with some music for you. The only catch is that I am no Danny Elfman - I can do what I can do and I can write music in the style I can write music, if you get what I mean. The best thing to do if you think you might be interested, is to have a listen to some of my tracks. You can listen to them at:

http://www.noiseproject.co.uk or
http://www.weirdlystrange.com.

I will, however, be attempting to step out of my usual comfort zone, music-wise and will give most things a go. I'm quite happy to do a long version, short version and ID/sting BUT I cannot guarantee a delivery time or even promise that I will give you what you are looking for - I will promise to give it my best shot though. This is a genuine offer not some kind of dressed-up advert - I am NOT a professional.

I will commit to trying a couple of tracks at a time, so please if you would like to give it a go, please get in touch either through this forum or by e-mail (rich at noiseproject dot co dot uk).

Hope this helps someone out.

Richard

Listening to a couple of your tracks, it doesn't sound like you do anything too bouncy, which is too bad. We'd love to have some more up-tempo electronic instrumentals (with a slight Latin flavor) to play as music beds on our show.

We produce a DiY show with a female host, and occasionally like to add a little extra pop to the projects by playing some music underneath the hostess as she does her thing, or play the music over a montage.

Hi,

Thanks for replying. I maybe should have mentioned that my output is not exactly 'pop'. Anyway, I have just had a go at something in a more upbeat vein that you might like to listen to. I am also digging out some latin percussion sounds on my sampler to see what I can come up with.

Here is a very rough draft of a bed (please bear in mind this was done in about an hour this morning just to give you an idea of what I can do at short notice - it still needs editing).

Here are a couple more ideas I have put together last night. Anyone interested?

It's not bad. Still sounds a little industrial for our show, but it's easy to see you have a lot of talent!
