Hi Everybody!

I'd like to formally invite you to listen to my new podcast, The Podcast Pro Tech & Tips Podcast (http://techandtipspodcast.com). Every other Wednesday, I publish a new episode, each with "tech" - a product review of podcasting technology, and "tips" - how-to information on podcasting. I have a podcast production firm (http://avalonpodcasting.com) and I spoke at last year's New Media Expo (http://www.newmediaexpo.com/friday2007.htm#McJunkinJohn) and I'll be speaking again at this year's expo (http://www.newmediaexpo.com/saturday2008.htm#McJunkinJohn) as well. I am happy to answer questions, and I'll entertain your suggestions for show topics. Please come listen!

How about a "How NOT to pimp your show in forums" podcast?

Oh wait! You know butkus about that, judging from the way you're spamming the same annoying post all over the forum! I don't care what kind of expert you claim to be, you know zilch about netiquette! How am I supposed to believe someone so clueless about the internet's rules of engagement would know anything about podcasting?

Here's some tips for you:
1) Read the community rules (http://www.podcastalley.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121514).
2) One post for your information in one forum.
3) Post that post in the appropriate forum -- in this case, since it's nothing more than a plug for your show, try the New Show Announcements (http://www.podcastalley.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=248) forum (ironically, one of the few ****ed place you didn't post it).

If you think I'm being harsh, there are some places that will ban you for doing this. I just hope you'll learn the error of your ways before you post somewhere else where they'll really tear you a new one for this kind of thing!

Hey,

Wyeth, I noticed that your post times are off a tad. You are living about 4 hours in the foooooture!

Actually...

It was ME, I was living in some far off land across the globe. It helps when you set up your user profile correctly. <sigh>

This is what happens when you don't come back around PCA as much as you did before your brain exploded...

LOL! Just so long as you're sure this place wasn't responsible for that! ;)

Nope!

I know why it happened.... and now I am on drugs to stop it from happening again! ... Basically I worked WAYYYYYY too much. I was traveling 95% of my life, never was home, when I was... I had TOO much to do. My blood pressure was insanely over normal. But only at night! So, I never knew, who the hell goes to the doctor between 7pm and 4am? <sigh>

So, no, it wasn't this place that caused it!

My MiL had at least one TIA (categorized as a "minor" stroke), and has had an up and down recovery. Last year was a good year, this winter, not so much. I wish you luck in your own continuing recovery!
