I was using my main website to host my podcast but am gettin a bit annoyed by over-traffic fees. What is a storage site that allows me to use the PodcastMaker's FTP Publish functionality? It's really great because it creates the xml and everything automatically. and also sites like podomatic, as far as i could see, only allow one photo/graphic during the podcast, while podcast maker makes them with as many as I want
Thanks in advance for any help !

If you're traffic is not too big (small files), I would look into Dreamhost (http://www.dreamhost.com/). They offer 500 GB of storage and a 5 TB monthly bandwidth for a very modest monthly fee.
If you need more than that, I would consider splitting media hosting and website hosting to different providers. Libsyn, for instance, is good for media hosting, and also offers FTP access. However, you might lose all your integration with PodcastMaker if it's not able to separately store the text from the media content on different servers.

5 TB should be enough bandwidrth to handle medium to large traffic loads. Not just small. It won't handle Geekbrief or TikiBar, but it will be more than adequate for most.

I mean your shownotes and other text bits. I suppose you want to have a web presence, next to your rss feed and media files, so people can find you through Google. If you already have established a web presence, you probably don't want to change that to another url, but your rss feed can be changed to point to the new location of the media files.
So, Dreamhost is a very good hosting provider to investigate. And as Eric wrote, you probably won't need to change hosts for your podcasting needs.
