Sure, but the idea is neat, isn't it? It should only be storyboarded better. The one I saw was rather static. A couple of different perspectives and angles would have made it more palatable.

Yes, it's a good idea. And I've seen a couple that are pretty good elsewhere, but most are, as you noticed, rather limited in their execution. I think if you're going to have a product that's intended to sell books in the way movie trailers are intended to sell movies, then there needs to be a touch more sophistication in the presentation. Otherwise you aren't really selling anything.
