Garageband in iLife 08 and long podcasts

I'm going crazy, and did not get my podcast up this weekend. I have about an hour in Garageband - and while it goes through all the motions of sharing my podcast to iTunes, the file never shows up!. I know that previously Garageband had about a 1 hour 2 minute limit, and I've been careful to keep to that, but I've tried just about everything I know to create this audio file (either in aiff or mp3 format, I don't really care!) It doesn't have an error message, it doesn't have a problem, it doesn't create a file anywhere.

Nothing so far on the apple message boards either.

Anyone experience this? Know a solution?:confused:

Just FYI - while I don't have an answer to this, I did arrive at a workaround. I can save my file to the desktop, then import that into Garageband, and it seems to work for any length of file.
