I've been trying to create a podcast that is more than 20 minutes, but with Audacity it seems that once I get towards the 30 minute mark the program becomes bogged down and the sound starts to stutter. Does anyone know why this is occurring and what I can do to fix the problem?

Do you have an older computer, not very much memory, lots of programs running, low disk space?
I weekly run 2 *hours* of audio, frequently running a full hour at a time or more, and have never had this problem.
Note, you should be using the 1.3.3 version if you can. It says it's a beta but it's more stable and has more features than 1.2.6

It could be a memory issue or too many programs. I'll have to upgrade to the newer version and see if that fixes it. Thanks.
