Hey y'all,
My show isn't new (been going since mid-January) but it's gotten pretty popular and we're now at about 100,000 downloads per month with a very active listener base. We've just launched our new website at http://www.pickuppodcast.com and have coupled that with some major media exposure in an effort to increase our listener base. Ideally, I'd like to have at LEAST 250,000-400,000 downloads per month in a year from now, which should be possible given our growth and the fact that there is a TV show about us in production, etc.
If you all get a chance, I'd love to hear what fellow podcasters have to say about the show. The most recent episodes aren't really of typical quality, but a pretty good example of a standard episode can be found here: http://blog.pickuppodcast.com/?p=297
Ah, and the show centers around meeting women and dating, but we also branch into sex, self-help and other personal development topics, although the focus tends to relate back to social dynamics at the end of the day.
