I'm not sure where I should look for Podshow Announcements and so maybe this change has been flagged already, if so please point me in the right direction and accept my apologies for disturbing the forum.
I download some of the podcasts from Podshow using "mysynclosure" feed grabber. This product records the url of the download in a flat file to prevent the repeated downloads of podcasts. However as I am in the UK the URL's are redirected to reference BTpodshow.com rather than Podshow.com, except today they changed to plain Podshow and so my downloaded scripit tried to download all the podcasts a second time. I stopped it when I noticed.
Anyone have any more info as to whether this change is permanent or not?
I am not really sure what the purpose of forcing redirection of UK people to BTpodshow is, if I am in Europe I don't get redirected, so I am thinking that I should not rely on redirection but specify btpodshow.com explicitly. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this?
