Audacity and MP3 Converter for Soundsoap 2.0

Just bought the soundsoap software(noise reduction program) and using audacity for recording,but the background sound is too noisy, so we tried to use the soundsoap..Still can't use Soundsoap but need mp3 converter for Audacity ..How to reduce the background noise? regards,sophie

Hi,
Where can I find a best mp3 converter that can converter my mp3 to a smaller quality?I'm looking for a good free mp3 converter that can batch compress or shrink the bit rate of my mp3s. I have some songs (in mp3 and m4a) that are at 320kbps, which is great but I don't need that much quality. I would love to shrink them down to something more reasonable, like 192kbps or something.

Thanks so much. Excuse the naive question, but would the mixer be with Skype and used in place of Hotbox, or would I record from Skype, into the mixer, and then into Hotbox?
