Hi all, it's a while since I've been on this Forum, but I picked up a couple of things from my earlier postings that have helped me record my Podcast which is now 25 episodes old, so thanks to those who responded to my postings.

However, I did encounter a new problem when using Skype. I interviewed people on some of my Podcasts (recorded using Audacity, but I don't think that's the problem). To record interviews for my Podcast, I would telephone the person I wanted to interview using Skype, and record the interview using Audacity.

All of the people I interviewed complained of hearing an echo at their end. It transpired that what they could hear was an echo of their voice.

Is there anything I can do about this? Change the headphones I'm using maybe (or is that clutching at straws?)

Cheers all,

Yotto

I don't have a solution for you, just appreciate the comedic aspect of this post being doubled.

Almost the definition of irony, isn't it?

This is so very basic to fix. Its an issue with your sound settings in Skype or if your using an external mixer, you need to do a mix-minus.
