My feed validates, but iTunes doesn't recognize the logo. I've changed the logo name and location in an attempt to grab iTunes' attention, but It still displays the default. Any ideas?

If your using FeedBurner dont forget to update the graphic their, if you are wisely not using Feedburner then Apple updates images about once a week.

I haven't had any problems with Feedburner.

How long since you updated your feed with your new logo/URL, and did you ping iTunes?

It can take some time for the image to propagate through iTunes, so expect to wait anywhere from several hours, to several days.

Nor have I. It seems to work nicely with iTunes and everything else, and the added features they offer are nice.

I pinged after I last updated, and I've waited a week since then. Itunes still shows the default. I'm not using feedburner. If anyone has ideas after looking at my rss file (http://www.insectapodcast.com/rss.xml), I'd appreciate input.

I saw a statement from Apple that the iTunes directory has been having some major issues. Wish I could point you to it, but I don't remember where exactly I saw it. Anyway, issues involved were changing artwork. Said it could take as long as 14 days. Also, you aren't able to submit new podcasts (don't know how long that was going to last); and some episodes may not be updated regularly.

Hopefully the kinks will be worked out soon. Last time this happened, it presaged a major reoranization of the directory... Be interesting to see if anything changes.

Pinging may not be enough. Try posting a new episode of your podcast.

Posting a new episode was exactly what was required. Thanks for the help.
