Hello I have just registered,

I am planning a new podcast for my website, I would like to get some advice on the hardware and software set ups I will need to cover the various scenarios I will have in recording voices.

I have read some guides and I understand the basic requirements, I have the following set up presently:

Audacity: Record and edit podcast.
Headset: to physically record my voice, and record phone calls.
Skype: to make and record phone calls over the internet.
Pamela: to record skype call.

I have been able to set up my headset and test it for skype and also I have been able to record some voice to Audacity.

The scenarios are:

Record own voice
Record phone call
Record multiple voices in same room
Record multiple voices + phone callerWith my headset I am okay for scenarios 1 & 2, I am not sure about 3 & 4. I have not yet looked into editing Audacity or putting recordings together, where can I find advice about using Audacity for Podcast editing?

Thanks

Audacity is ok for postcast editing, but the best software I've found and I use myself, is Podcaststation.
