Adding Call ins?

I've recently started a Chicago Bulls Podcast (www.bullsbeat.com) with a friend.

We record the podcast using skype (he's in PA I'm in IL) over the phone.

I'm interested in the ability to allow 'callers' to come on the show via skype with us, but I need some type of ability to control when they come on the podcast and when they don't (like the ability to mute them etc).

Is there any feasible way to do this?

TalkShoe.com has a control panel that allows it. Plus they pay you for participants and downloads. The sound can be rough, however you can do a couple of things to make it better: Use an SIP VoIP client (Talkshoe suggests some recommended brands), or record yourselves on your end independently and mix recordings with your TalkShoe call-ins.
