Does anyone know what the feed refresh time is on Digg? I added a new episode to my podcast a couple days ago and Digg hasn't picked it up yet. PCA has though, iTunes has, and most directories I've checked have gotten the latest feed. What's the deal with Digg?
For comparison, check out Digg page vs. our PCA page:

Please help!

Did you get the email from Digg that says you're confirmed (or added or whatever)? If you did, it should only be a short time before it's added.
If you haven't, you might want to run your feed through www.FeedValidator.org, just in case. I've heard Digg can be both slow and picky.

Thanks for the tip. I tried the validation and it came back good. The only warning was that it didn't have an iTunes category tag. I don't think that is stopping it from showing up in Digg b/c the first episode was picked up and I haven't really changed the feed except for adding the second epi.
I guess Digg is just slow? It took a few days for them to get the first podcast up, but that was expected because of the approval process. They don't approve each episode do they, just the first right?
Thanks again for your help.

Yeah, they should only approve the first one. I wouldn't necessarily discount the lacking iTunes tag. From what I've heard from some others, Digg seems to like those. Not having one, or having a badly formatted one (depending on what it is), may be a problem. Hmmm... But if it was a problem, would they have approved you in the first place?
I don't know, Digg is still new to this. I suppose it's just hiccups.

After about 2 weeks the problem seems to have been fixed, although there is a duplicate episode listed. I emailed feedback@digg.com and told them my feed wasn't updating. They were suprisingly quick to respond (less than 12 hours). Here's the email:
We are currently working on fixing that bug. Sorry for the inconvenience
caused. If you're seeing any other problems, please email us and we'll
do our best to fix them.
Thank you,
-The Digg Support Team.
The next day it was corrected. I haven't changed the feed at all, so it must have been something on their end. I'm adding a new episode tonight so I guess I'll be testing it out again.

I just found out this morning that my podcast is listed in the Digg directory. I submitted a couple weeks back, but never received the confirmation e-mail. My logo doesn't appear in my Digg listing. But, at least my podcast is there. Maybe the logo will appear over time. (Also, I tried to "digg" my listing, but nothing happened, even though it was showing up as "dugg." Oh, well.)

Yeah I had the same problem, but it seems to be fixed. Took a while thought
