If you're using a Mac, I also suggest using Call Recorder from eCamm Software. It's a plugin for skype that is about as simple as it gets. Start your video or audio chat and hit record. When finished, it dumps the complete file into a folder in .mov format. However it does include 3 converters to turn your file into ACC, MP3, or AIFF. I paid my $15 for it and I couldn't be happier. It's made a huge difference in the sound quality of our show. Just thought I would throw this out there for those using a Mac and have been looking for a solution.

I too am making a podcast for personal purposes...( my previous experiences with it are no good as there are often session breakdowns which forces me to opt for Pro. software as Rhubcom's appliance for professional reasons ) but want to know how I can record Skype phonecalls so I can have my co-host heard better on the show through a mixer/soundboard.

There is no video on ours just sound cast...

We record with Audacity and listen to each other thru Skype. Sometimes its a pain with Skype but for the most part its fine and the casts come out very very clean.

On Audacity, exporting a mp3 or the project for two people is not bad with file sending and edit but after 3 people it gets a little hectic. If one person has issues with their file or project the whole thing can end up getting scrapped.
