I've been floating this idea around on TalkShoe, and I've had a few bites. If I can get a few more people who dig the concept, I'll move forward with it.
I have a daily Tech and Politics podcast that's been growing pretty quick. I'm into my third week and am getting around 600-700 listens/downloads a week. Our discussion and analysis leans slightly to the right, and our tech talk tends towards startups and business ends of things (although it's not limited to that).
We tend to blow through about three to ten stories a day, depending on how interesting they are and how many calls we get. There has been some interest in a shortform version of the program (headlines only, around 2 to 5 minutes) to play daily within other shows with related themes. If I can get a few more folks in on the concept, I'll go ahead and do the additional show.
If you are interested, either PM me here or leave a response on the board! For show samples, check the feed in the sigfile. You might want to go back one episode, as our Friday show had a buttload of technical issues that our Thursday show didn't.
