I can't pinpoint when it stopped for sure (I suspect with the change to the new server), but I'm no longer getting email notices when someone replies to a thread I start or am subscribed to. This also extends to private messages. PCA used to be very reliable at this, so I'm rather perplexed as to why the emails are not coming.

Did you change how they're sent or addressed in some way? Could it be tripping a spam filter because of it?

Thanks,

Eric

Nothing has changed for the email settings and the new servers went into service in November. In fact, I got my usual notice when you posted this message. Though I can't see which threads you have susbscribed, your user profile seems to be set up correctly as well. If you don't notice anything on your end that may be doing this today, post another message and I will try to dig deeper still.

I haven't received e-mail notifications from PCA's forum for most of the time I've had an account. It broke a long time ago; I complained a long time ago (like more than a year), and everyone just shrugged.

That is odd then. We changed a lot in that amount of time including the software that sends the mail and the mail server software itself. I'm going to try to come up with a way we can test that will shlow us what's going on. I'll PM you when I've got an idea. Sound good?

I'm going to check my spam filters. One I have quite a bit of control over (the email account I'm registered with), but my ISP's may be another story (they require me to use their SMTP server). If I find that it's one of them, I'll let you know.
