Greetings all
I just want to showcase the last couple of shows that i have been putting out for the nextbigthing podcast
http://nextbigthing.libsyn.com/
a lot of shows feature great unsigned bands and music , but mostly they just play the tunes and we get a lot of great music but no context about where the music is coming from or what caused it to be created or the souls behind the tunes.
In my december show i got a New york band to listen to a South African band and visa versa, and get both bands to ask eachother questions about their music and their respective scenes. Then on my latest show i showcased an americana/lo fi band (the Heise Bros) and got them to comment on each track of their new release and got other bands to listen to and comment on specfic tracks as well.
I like the feeling that bands, no mattern what genre or party of the world can interact and share/discuss their music
any way enough rambling, do give the show a listen to and i would love your thoughts
