Hi All,

Please forgive the multiple postings, but I want to make sure I reach everyone who may be interested.

I'm a songwriter from Wash. D.C., and have just released a 4-song EP called In The Coffee Shop, When. I call my music Litpop - it's lyrically narrative, melodic, hook-driven, with both a retro and contemporary sound. Think Beatles, Aimee Mann, Squeeze, XTC. The EP is now available for sale via SnoCap (on myspace, last.fm and others) and will soon be on iTunes, eHarmony, Sony Connect, etc. I've made 2 songs Podsafe, and will be registering the others with Creative Commons this evening (I had trouble with their software this weekend).

The EP features Epic and Atlantic recording artist Danny Malone on vocals. Danny was the frontman for Diving For Pearls, and later did an album with Elliot Easton, lead guitarist of the Cars, along with members of Tom Petty's group.

I'd like to invite you to check out the music at my Podshow page (http://music.podshow.com/music/listeners/artistdetails.php?BandHash=5a12e65a32f36ea4741ab4d 4933dc2e7)and feel free to use any of the songs. The songs are also at the Internet Archive.

I'm also happy to do promos, interviews or provide more information. Just send me an email (litpop@andystoneonline.com).

Many thanks,

Andy Stone

If you really want to endear yourself to a community and "reach everyone who may be interested," the answer isn't spamming the forums, it's participating in them.

Hi Eric,

I didn't mean to spam; actually, I thought it was all right -- and in fact, desired by podcasters -- for artists to post info here about podsafe songs. On other sites, I've seen requests for music, so I honestly thought I was helping out the common good, as it were. Also, I did this from work and had to be quick (hence the "multiple postings" mention).

In the future, I will be more participatory in the forums. And I'm truly sorry if I offended anyone. It honestly wasn't my intention.

Best,

Andy Stone
