Greetings fellow PodCasters..
On April 16th (Patriots Day, here in Massachusetts), I'll be running in the 111th Boston Marathon. This will be my second PodCast from this 26.2 mile race (my first was in episode 41 of my goofy little podcast), and I?m looking to set a personal course record this year.
I've produced a promo to highlight the shows that I?ll produce in April, to commemorate this amazing race. You can listen to/download it here:

If anyone out there could play this on their show, I'd be happy to record an audio bit or promo for your podcast as I'm actually running the race on April 16th. Just forward me a script, or an idea of what you'd like me to say.
In April I'll be producing four shows on the subject of the Boston Marathon:
April 1st : "The 2007 State of the Boston Marathon Course", recorded as I run the course in training for race day.
April 8th: "Running Legend: Joan Benoit Samuelson", a biographical episode about the 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist in the womans marathon (the year that the womans marathon was first introduced) and winner of the 1979 Boston Marathon.
April 15th: "Duel in the Sun" about a famous 1982 Boston Marathon race between Alberto Salazar and Dick Beardsley
April 22nd I'll upload my running of the 111th Boston Marathon.
You'll be able to track me as I run the race, in real time, with a computer chip I'll be wearing on one of my running shoes. I had over 400 runners "tracking me", as they received email messages from the Boston Athletic Association as I ran over magnetic sensing mats during the race. My audience has grown significantly since then, so I'm guessing the alert list will be bigger than last year.
Thanks for your help!
Run long!
- Steve
