Im looking for a software or web app that will give me the ability to 'subscribe' to a podcast. I need to do everything from a memorystick on a PC that I have NO admin rights or support. I can save files to the PC but I cannot install anything and rights to the C drive outside of the My Documents folder are locked.
I have run other apps such as winrar, and open office, and irfanview from my memstick with no trouble, as long as the install is done on my home machine.
Being able to subscribe to a to podcast and get new episodes are the big item here.

So, you have a memory stick, that you can run programs off of? I don't see why you couldn't run Juice or something from it, storing all config files and podcasts on the mem stick.
Or, see if you can find a bashpodder type solution for windows. I don't know of one, but the one for Bash (hence the name) is pretty nice and I *know* a batch file version would work, as there's no reason for it to even look at your machine's drives.

As I understand it, what you want to do is exacly what PodcastReady (http://podcastready.com/) is designed for. I am not sure if you must have a U3 device. What is U3? I have no idea, I just know that I have a USB stick that has that logo on it and it is at the PodcastReady (http://podcastready.com/) site too.

Have a look at 'Roberts Podcatcher'. It weighs in at about 350k, and does not require any DLLs or .NET Framework. I personally run this off a USB stick or my MP3 player depending on my needs.
