I'm a podcast addict (mostly from NPR and similar sources) and have been successfully using iTunes to download my many subscribed podcasts successfully. My problem relates to organizing those podcasts in an easily accessible/retrievable manner on my Creative Zen player. I use Creative's software to sync the iTunes folder with my player, but the problem is that the podcasts are never in a usable order. Some of this is because the podcast providers (or iTunes) are very inconsistent in how they name and identify the podcasts. I think another part of the problem is that Creative's software doesn't reflect the date of the podcast, a feature I find critical in identifying when the podcast was originally broadcast.

Does anyone know of any software I can use to successfully use to download and sync podcasts to my Creative player that will (1) organize all related podcasts into one folder, and (2) allow me to organize them within that folder by date?

Thanks...

Most decent podcatchers will let you export your podcasts to a single iTunes playlist (folder), but I'm not sure about sorting by date.

I don't have a Zen, but I do know that they have their own software. Have you tried the Zencast Organizer software (found at Zencast.com (http://www.zencast.com/)) to get your podcasts?
